Ever wondered how to use your dulcimer to play in those strange keys that are easily accessible by guitars and other stringed instruments? This is a workshop on how to play in just about any key using a standard mountain dulcimer normally tuned to DAd. The next time your church organist or punk band friend asks you to play with him/her on a song written in A-flat, you’ll be able to say, “Yeah, I can do that!”

This is a virtual workshop that includes 90 minutes of instruction in a ZOOM meeting room and supporting materials. You will be given time to try things out and ask questions. For those who want to stick around afterwards, there will be an informal time (about ½ hour or so) to ask questions, hang out, or talk about dulcimers.
