This is the second in a series of repertoire workshops for holidays that we celebrate in America. It is designed to be a 2-hour workshop. The cold winter months of January through March give us New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and Saint Patrick’s Day. This workshop includes a two-part hymn for New Year’s as well as the traditional “Auld Lang Syne” by Robert Burns. For Valentine’s, there are a couple of songs through which you can celebrate all things LOVE. For Saint Patrick’s, we’ll play a march named in the Saint of Ireland’s honor and a traditional tune of Irish pride. Who knows? We may include another or two. Prepare to get the most out of the whole season with your dulcimer!
